William Drummond is a former British Royal Navy officer and author of numerous books on maritime history, including the bestselling "Unbeaten Tracks" series, which has been serialised in Country Life. He also authored "The Spirit of Trafalgar," a history of the Battle of Trafalgar, and "The Last Voyage," an account of the sinking of HMS Bounty.
